How to Microwave Eggs using the Stonewave Microwave Cooker

The Stonewave is my new favorite kitchen tool even over my cooktop. This little microwave cooker allows me to microwave eggs in just a couple of minutes. This is so nice when it’s just my daughter and me at home. I hate to dirty a big pan for just the two of us.

January 2020 UPDATE:

I’ve found similar items for less. Note: I have not tried these products, but am simply offering other options in case you’re a big fan of microwaving eggs and other foods.

You’ve probably seen the commercials for the Stonewave, like me. I believe I saw the commercial on the HGTV channel one night and I knew I just had to try it out for myself. They had me sold with the microwave eggs with cheese images.

Easy Microwave Eggs

Ingredients: 3 Eggs, water and cheese.

Directions: Crack 3 eggs into the Stonewave, discarding shells. Add 1 teaspoon of water per egg and mix up with a fork. Place the top on the Stonewave and microwave for about two minutes or until done. Lift the eggs up to make sure they are cooked thoroughly. Replace lid and cook in 30 second increments until done. Sprinkle a handful of your favorite shredded cheese on top of the eggs and replace the lid. Let sit for about 1 minute or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!

My Thoughts

Okay, how can I not sound like a commercial here? The Stonewave is so easy to clean and the best part is that you only need one pot for everything. No need to mix your eggs in a separate bowl. The Stonewave is pretty scratch resistant so there’s no need to worry. Also, I love that I don’t ever have to use butter in the Stonewave. Nothing seems to stick to it which is fantastic.
